  • Big Drift: Begin your adventure with an awe-inspiring walk across The Big Drift — an endless sea of golden sand dunes hidden within the park. As you climb to the top, you’ll be greeted by surreal desert-like landscapes that stretch as far as the eye can see. It’s a photographer’s dream — where shifting sands and sunlight create ever-changing patterns of beauty.

Tidal River: Journey to the heart of the Prom, the Tidal River settlement — the main hub for visitors and the perfect base for exploring. Wander along the tranquil riverbanks, cross charming wooden bridges, and spot wallabies grazing nearby. Enjoy a picnic or light refreshment while soaking in the peaceful sounds of nature surrounding you.

Mt. Oberon Summit Walk: Lace up your hiking boots and take the exhilarating climb to the Mt. Oberon summit. The reward? A breathtaking 360° view of the Prom’s sweeping coastline, granite peaks, and islands scattered across the turquoise waters of Bass Strait. The summit at sunset or sunrise paints the sky in magnificent hues — an unforgettable sight that captures the spirit of the wild.

Squeaky Beach: End your day at the famous Squeaky Beach, where the pure white quartz sand literally “squeaks” beneath your feet. Stroll along the shore, explore granite boulders shaped by wind and time, or take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters. This coastal gem offers the perfect finale — a serene and playful reminder of the Prom’s natural wonder.
